Bix Von Strous The Great

Bix was our first Rottie, one amazing dog. When he was full grown, no lies here, he weighed 158lbs and on his hind feet he stood as tall as my 5'10 husband.

Bix won over our hearts. We couldn't of ask for a better dog. I remember one time my parents came over to the house, and bix beelined for my moms car. Bix jumped through the car window landing in my dads lap, thank goodness the window was down.

My husband used to drive cross country in a tractor trailer. One day when he was leaving I thought he was far enough down the road, so I let Bix out. . .He took off chasing the truck. I was yelling for my husband to stop while chasing bix, and when my husband finally stopped he opened the door and Bix jumped right in and looked at my husband like "okay dad lets go".

He loved our daughter and was very gentle. Very well trained and very obedient. Sadly Bix was shot defending his home.

It has been almost 10 years and we tear up every time we look back on pictures of him. RIP Bix you are still very loved and missed.
